This position is responsible for the Upkeep and Maintenance of the facility, along with its grounds, systems, and related events.
The incumbent will be expected to respond to associates’ maintenance requests and communications in a timely and professional manner.
This position will be expected to participate in projects with members of other teams, working closely with IT, HR & Facilities.
Success will be measured through results and feedback from other associates
Facilities Operations (50%)
Conduct routine inspections of premises, grounds, building systems, equipment and furnishings.
Perform preventative maintenance on, and/or repair or arrange to have repaired, building systems including Plumbing, Electrical, Generator, HVAC, Appliances, etc.
Maintain and schedule regular testing and service for all Fire / Life Safety Systems, Including Fire Inspections, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Sprinklers, Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting and Smoke Detectors.
Maintain building appearance inside and out; Touch-up Painting, Window Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Maintaining lights, etc.
Detect and report the need for major maintenance or repairs.
Facilitate and support associate moves and the resulting furniture adjustments.
Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
Maintain and manage all hired facility vendors; landscaping, trash service, janitorial service etc.
Support and assist associates with assembly and installation/mounting of equipment and furnishings
Organization and ongoing maintenance of storage areas, warehouse/loading areas & custodial/janitorial equipment areas.
Maintain records and documentation on all implemented equipment and building systems.
Maintain, service, clean and properly store equipment
Serve on the local Safety Committee
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, relevant codes and standards, and established procedures and best practices.
Remediate and/or report safety hazards to your supervisor and take appropriate action.
Perform other related duties and activities as required
Insure overall cleanliness of the building, keeping it maintained and in good condition.
Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as grounds and parking lots.
Work with a contract cleaning service to direct their efforts and define their scope.
Insure restrooms are kept stocked, and that cleaning supplies are kept in stock.
As needed, clean up spills and collect and dispose of trash.
Hospitality Support (20%)
Service & Maintain (Fill and Clean) coffee makers, tea, and other employee amenities.
Maintain equipment and appliances in the break rooms & reception area.
Set up and take down for any events, brand days, holidays etc.
Experience & Education
HS Diploma minimum, preference for 2+ years of college or trade school.
Preference for 2+ years of experience in similar positions.
Proven experience utilizing common tools to solve repair and maintenance issues.
Requires strong Problem Solving skills, Attention to Detail, and Self Motivation.
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results; disciplined self-starter
Ability to think on your feet and provide real-time analysis and realistic solutions.
Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Superior time management and organizational skills required
Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Adaptable and able to move with changes while maintaining a positive attitude
